This is a perfect illustration of how if you keep saying something over and over again, it will happen. Of course, we knew Love The Way You Lie wasn’t going to stay on top forever, so that was an easy prediction for me to make. Anyway, the beauty of the current pop landscape is that if you spin strictly Top 40, you don’t have to download too many new songs right now. Much respect to those of you who are exploring though; I used to be like you, and that’s the way you should be.

Music Review: Kush - Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg and Akon

Speed: 95 bpm

The DJ’s Take: Did I miss the G-Unit comeback special? Thick, heavy percussion with a serious piano that drives down like rain, and I half-expected Fiddy to jump in. Not bad, but Dre sounds a long way away from The Chronic. Or even The Chronic 2001.
