Blow - Ke$ha
Speed: 120 bpm
The DJ’s Take: First off, it’s good to see that the dude from Dawson’s Creek is alive and well. Typical stuff from Ke$ha, and I think I’m starting to get used to it, which is sad. Spin it during peak hours on a top 40 night, and you’ll be alright. Promise.

The BMC Top 5 for February 2011
Looks like Black and Yellow will #1 for awhile:
BMC Top 5 Singles for February 2011:
1. Black and Yellow - Wiz Khalifa
2. Firework - Katy Perry
3. No Hands - Waka Flocka
4. Like A G6 - Far East Movement
5. Just The Way You Are - Bruno Mars
Top 5 BPMs for February 2011:
1. 125 bpm
2. 100 bpm
3. 130 bpm
4. 120 bpm
5. 115 bpm
First it was Love The Way You Lie, and now it's Black and Yellow taking the reins as the new dominant #1 on this blog. In fact, Black and Yellow had almost twice as much traffic as the #2 song. Should be interesting to see if another new track can mount any kind of challenge in the weeks ahead.

Born This Way - Lady Gaga
Speed: 124 bpm
The DJ’s Take: Friendly tip - actual music starts at around 2:40 in the video. Simply put, this is like Express Yourself, only 'fiercer' (whatever that means; I heard it on TV somewhere). I think you can also turn on key adjust and mix this with When Love Takes Over.

I Need A Doctor - Dr. Dre ft. Eminem
Speed: 78 bpm
The DJ’s Take: Is it just me, or is Eminem like the Debbie Downer of rap - all his stuff is dark and heavy. But somehow, it works. Just don’t listen to I Need A Doctor if you’re in a good mood, because this will just kill it.
