1. Party Rock Anthem - LMFAO

2. The One That Got Away - Katy Perry

3. Pumped Up Kicks - Foster The People

4. Sexy And I Know It - LMFAO

5. Without You - David Guetta ft. Usher

Top 5 BPMs for November 2011:

1. 130 bpm

2. 125 bpm

3. 100 bpm

4. 70 bpm

5. 120 bpm

On a side note, there was a dj playing this over-caffeinated drum & bass-type music at the bar last night. Place was virtually empty. Regardless, dude was rocking out, having fun. That's how you need to be to reach your potential, whether this is a hobby or a job.

Of course, being good doesn't hurt either. My ears are still ringing from that stuff.

Levels - Avicii

Speed: 126 bpm

The DJ's Take: After covering Good Feeling back in September, it is now officially a smash. The question is how you keep things going when the song ends. Answer: turn on key adjust and transition into its predecessor. The cool thing is that Good Feeling has gotten so popular, it's dragged Levels up into the Billboard charts with it. Take advantage.

And maybe throw in some Katy Perry for the pop-inclined.

5 O'Clock - T-Pain ft. Lily Allen

Speed: 84 bpm

The DJ's Take: I thought this song was dumb the first time I heard it. But the more I listen, the more it reminds me of my early to mid 20s. Like you're not seeing any one female exclusively, but no matter how things go at the bar or club on any given night, you know there's this one nice girl who will always be waiting & ready to hang no matter how late it is when you call. Good choice for the last song, especially if you spin in NYC (where last call really is around 5 o'clock in the morning).
