Wake Me Up - Avicii

Speed: 124 bpm

Recommended bpm range: 120 to 125 bpm, 125 to 130 bpm

The DJ's Take: Apparently there comes a time when you get so big, you're willing to take some interesting chances. And Avicii's done it here with the first country EDM track I've ever heard. Sure, it seems a little offbeat at first, but take a look at the US pop charts - country is slowly creeping in. In fact, if you missed us on Twitter this past Friday, a popular bar in a notable northeastern American city had a country night. And people were dressed up like wannabe farmers and mouthing the words to songs.

Anyway, I'd read the crowd carefully before springing Wake Me Up on them. That said, if people are in the twenty-something range and they're into EDM, they've probably heard this already. Worth a gamble if you can sneak it in at the right time. And if it doesn't work, simply abort and parachute into Get Lucky.
