Music Review: Fire Burning - Sean Kingston

Speed: 123 bpm

Recommended bpm range: 120 to 125 bpm, 125 to 130 bpm

The DJ’s Take: So this one is currently in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10, which qualifies it as one of America’s biggest guilty pleasures. Not really a classic, but you got a young dude with name recognition and a Jamaican accent, as well as a beat anyone can dance to after a few margaritas, or a few Twizzlers, since I can see all age groups liking this one. Plus, it’s summer, which means we need a pop reggae anthem to adopt.

Also, for the DJs, remember - bpm is in the mid 120s, which means you can mix it with tracks in the 120 bpm and 130 bpm ranges. Highly recommended download if you want some flexibility.

Try mixing with tracks like:

If It Ain't Love - Jason Derulo, Home - Firebeatz & Jay Hardway, Sunglasses At Night - Corey Hart, Sugar - Robin Schulz ft. Francesco Yates, Shut Up and Dance - WALK THE MOON
