I actually started this by stacking several songs on top of each other in Logic Pro, then muting/soloing certain tracks to decide what to use. This one reminds me of the first half of Lovefool by The Cardigans , only a bit faster and more disco-oriented. Take the instrumental-only first four seconds of Lovefool, speed it up to about 115-116 bpm, lay it over Flowers, and that could be the start of something interesting.
