Levels - Nick Jonas

Speed: 102 bpm Recommended bpm range: 95 to 100 bpm , 100 to 105 bpm The DJ's Take: If we're ranking songs with the name Levels, I'm going with Avicii . But this has pop hit potential - probably best employed during a high school dance or at a casual bar on Top 40 night. **Unconventional mashup idea alert**: This reminds me a lot of Tom Cochrane's Life Is A Highway , which was hot when I was in middle school. Virtually identical bpm, similar key; no idea how tricky it would be, but worth a try for someone looking to dig into the archives a little (jeez; just realized the song's almost 25 years old). Back to reality: I'd try dropping maybe 3 bpm's and doing something with Taylor Swift's Blank Space . If you're living around 100 bpm, try mixing with tracks like Don't Tell Em - Jeremih , Dreamlover - Mariah Carey , Be Faithful - Fatman Scoop and Pretty Girls - Britney Spears ft. Iggy Azalea . Back to Earth - Steve Aoki ft. Fall Out Boy

Speed: 128 bpm Recommended bpm range: 125 to 130 bpm The DJ's Take: Key-wise and feel-wise, this reminds me of both Journey's Separate Ways and Bon Jovi's Livin On A Prayer . Interesting mix/mashup potential there; I'll let you figure that out next time you're spinning for a middle-aged Caucasian crowd. Personally, I kind of like the idea of rock-infused EDM - definite headbanging / moshpit potential in the right environment. Try mixing with some or all of the following: Secrets - Tiësto and KSHMR , Summer - Calvin Harris , Feel So Close - Calvin Harris , I Cry - Flo Rida , Feel This Moment - Pitbull , Day 'N' Nite (Remix) - Kid Cudi , Let's Go - Calvin Harris and NeYo , We'll Be Coming Back - Calvin Harris Download the song: Amazon: Back to Earth

Body On Me - Rita Ora ft. Chris Brown

Speed: 89 bpm Recommended bpm range: 90 to 95 bpm The DJ's Take: The beat's trying a little too hard to be epic, but the name recognition should earn it a spot in your new music rotation. Probably best employed at a bar gig during the warm-up portion of the festivities. If you're staying key-compatible, try mixing or mashing up with tracks like Sit Still, Look Pretty - Daya , Again - Fetty Wap , 679 - Fetty Wap , Style - Taylor Swift , Jealous - Nick Jonas , Good Thing (feat. Nick Jonas) - Sage the Gemini , Diamonds - Rihanna ,  Adorn - Miguel ,  Candy Rain - Soul For Real , and  Check The Rhime - A Tribe Called Quest . Download the song: Amazon
