Lions In the Wild - Martin Garrix & Third Party

Speed: 128 bpm Recommended bpm range: 125 to 130 bpm The DJ's Take: For those who've been eagerly awaiting the next EDM review on this site, here you go. Pretty much everything you'd expect from Martin Garrix - pulsating, head-pounding, fist-pumping festival fodder. More than worth a download for the peak hours of an electronic music set. Try mixing with key-compatible tracks like:

Don't You Need Somebody - RedOne ft. Enrique Iglesias, R. City, Serayah & Shaggy

Speed: 93 bpm Recommended bpm range: 90 to 95 bpm The DJ's Take: Same producer who made Lady Gaga's Just Dance , which is one of my favorite beats of the past 10 years, and this one has a breezy, festive feel that should work well this summer. Try mixing with key-compatible tracks like:

All In My Head (Flex) - Fifth Harmony ft. Fetty Wap

Speed: 95 bpm Recommended bpm range: 90 to 95 bpm , 95 to 100 bpm The DJ's Take: If you feel like you've heard the hook before, this is the sample . Kind of a rock / reggae / hiphop fusion that should keep things moving with your prototypical pop crowd. I think this has some hit potential, so get it in your rotation and see what happens. If you're in the 90 to 95 bpm range, try mixing with tracks like:

Grammys - Drake ft. Future

Speed: 72 bpm Recommended bpm range: 70 bpm to 75 bpm The DJ's Take: Seems like Drake and Future are about as bankable a duo as you can get in hiphop. And once again, they've put out a solid head-nodder. (Mildly) interesting side note: based on my measurements, Drake's part is 71 bpm and Future's is 73 bpm, so I split the difference. In any case, worth a spin in a hiphop or pop-oriented set. Try mixing or mashing up with tracks like:

Why You Always Hatin? - YG ft. Drake, Kamaiyah

Speed: 93 bpm Recommended bpm range: 90 to 95 bpm The DJ's Take: Kinda sounds like Fancy , doesn't it? Pretty generic hiphop that should fill a couple minutes in a set, and the Drake verse should get some of your audience's attention. Plus, the hook is memorable enough to make this worth a spin or two. If you're in the 85 to 90 bpm range, try mixing or mashing up with tracks like:

Pull Up - Wiz Khalifa ft. Lil Uzi Vert

Speed: 67 bpm Recommended bpm range: 65 bpm to 70 bpm The DJ's Take: This is what I would call a set extender - not a hit on its own, but if you're looking to stretch a mix out for a couple more minutes in the same key and / or bpm, it should be fine. Worth a download if you spin hiphop and need an infusion of something new. Try mixing or mashing up with tracks like:

Everyday - Ariana Grande ft. Future

Speed: 65.5 bpm Recommended bpm range: 65 bpm to 70 bpm The DJ's Take: This one feels like a Future or Weeknd-style beat with Ariana Grande's vocals. She's been a little hit-or-miss when it comes to singles, but Everyday should have a chance to do as well as any of the rest of her recent catalogue. Worth a spin in the new music portion of a pop night. Try mixing or mashing up with key-compatible tracks like: Forgot About Dre - Dr. Dre ft. Eminem Often - The Weeknd GDFR - Flo Rida Inside Out - The Chainsmokers Private Show - TI ft. Chris Brown Rap God - Eminem Download or stream the song: Apple Music iTunes Amazon
