Get Low - Dillon Francis & DJ Snake

Speed: 101 bpm The DJ's Take: Nothing beats the original Get Low when it comes to getting a crowd going, but this isn't bad. In fact, I can see that first drop keeping things moving in a club. As far as keeping the trap/electronic-vibe going, I'd mix with tracks like Turn Down For What and the Fancy Yellow Claw Remix . But really, almost anything upbeat in the 100 to 105 bpm range should work. Download the song:

Rude - MAGIC!

Speed: 72 bpm The DJ's Take: Is there any better candidate to be played at a summer wedding reception or in a proposal flash mob captured on YouTube (or a laid-back pool party)? Worth a download and spin. If you're staying key-compatible, try mixing with Dark Horse , Drunk In Love , and/or All Of The Lights . Download the song: Amazon:

Pills N Potions - Nicki Minaj

Speed: 85 bpm The DJ's Take: Nice to see Nicki Minaj go without the loud wigs and outfits - hopefully it's a sign of things to come. More like a reflective, inspirational poem than a dance floor banger (sounds like a faster version of Stay ), but I have a feeling this'll get popular. If you're staying key-compatible, not a bad intro into livelier tracks like Wiggle , Down On Me , and Dance (A$$) Remix . Download the song: Amazon: Pills N Potions [Explicit]

Slave To The Rhythm - Michael Jackson

Speed: 125 bpm The DJ's Take: When you see a song performed with a hologram at the Billboard Music Awards, you figure it's getting a decent promotional push, right? Worth a download and a spin. Good news - a lot of songs you can mix with. If you're going in the 120 to 125 bpm range, try some (or all) of the following: Sing - Ed Sheeran , Poker Face , The Way I Are , and/or Forever . In the 125+ bpm range, try blending with Birthday - Katy Perry , Timber - Pitbull , Play Hard - David Guetta , Sweet Nothing - Calvin Harris , and/or Super Bass - Nicki Minaj . Download the song: Amazon: Xscape [Deluxe Edition]

Magic - Coldplay

Speed: 93.5 bpm The DJ's Take: Nice chill track for a mixtape or lower-key party/lounge setting. Also not bad as you're winding things down during a Top 40 gig. Try mixing with some or all of the following to stay eclectic and key-compatible: Stereo Hearts - Gym Class Heroes , You're All I Need - Method Man & Mary J. Blige , Baby Baby Baby - TLC , Opposite of Adults - Chiddy Bang , Ridin Solo - Jason Derulo , Airplanes - B.o.B , Find Your Love - Drake , Flashing Lights - Kanye West , Replay - IYAZ , Renee - Lost Boyz Download the song: Amazon: Magic
