Ain't It Fun - Paramore

Speed: 104 bpm The DJ's Take: Heard this on the radio the other day, and it reminded me a lot of Cruel Summer by Bananarama (which could be a nice little mix or mashup if you spin 80s music). Worth a download if you play Top 40 and you're not too worried whether people are dancing or not. If you want to stay key-compatible (and get a little unconventional), try mixing with tracks like Mo Money Mo Problems , Love More , and Turn Me On . Download the song: Amazon: Ain't It Fun

Headlights - Eminem ft. Nate Ruess

Speed: 73 bpm The DJ's Take: If you're a Top 40 dj at the local college bar, this is a song you designate as a 'wet blanket' - i.e. something to throw on near closing time to dial down the energy so the crowd files out a little more easily and peacefully. Not a bad choice considering how popular it's gotten over the past couple days. I've read in some circles that it's like this generation's Dear Mama , but I wouldn't go that far. Try mixing with Jason Derulo's Whatcha Say and/or T.I.'s No Matter What if you're looking to stay key-compatible. Download the song: Amazon: Headlights [feat. Nate Ruess] [Explicit]
