TKO - Justin Timberlake

Speed: 69 bpm The DJ's Take: Anyone immediately think this was Kiss Kiss Pt. II after the first listen? I was walking around Back Bay in Boston right after the Jay-Z/JT concert at Fenway Park, and all the bars were packed with people buzzing about how good the show was. Will be interesting to see if he can maintain the momentum into fall. Solid single and worth a download to shore up your 70 bpm selection. Try mixing with tracks like Long Time - Ty Dolla $ign ft. Quavo , Panda - Desiigner , Ride - twenty one pilots , King of Everything - Wiz Khalifa , Bake Sale - Wiz Khalifa ft. Travis Scott , Kiss Kiss - Chris Brown ft. T-Pain , TKO - Justin Timberlake Download the song:   Amazon:

Dear Boy - Avicii

Speed: 125 bpm The DJ's Take: Sort of feels like I Could Be the One keywise and bpm-wise, right? If I were spinning at some big EDM festival, I'd have everyone in the crowd (especially the ones with the pacifiers in their mouths) sign a waiver form absolving me of responsibility for their impending cranial explosions. As unique as some of his recent singles have been, Avicii knows what his fans want and he delivers. Probably worth a spot on your laptop playlist. Download the song:   Amazon:

Revolution - Diplo (feat. Faustix & Imanos and Kai)

Speed: 74 bpm The DJ's Take: Be careful when nodding your head to this - I think I just cricked my neck a little. Probably not the best choice for a Top 40 night, but it's kind of interesting, isn't it? Beat reminds me a lot of Usher's Climax , which coincidentally (or maybe not so much) was also produced by Diplo. People who like to make key-compatible mashups can try blending this with a bunch of the following tracks: Mirrors - Justin Timberlake , Give Me A Try - Sizzla , Bottoms Up - Trey Songz , BedRock - Young Money , Got Your Back - T.I. ft. Keri Hilson , All The Above - Maino , Boyfriend #2 - Pleasure P , Crank That - Soulja Boy , Say My Name , Man Down - Rihanna , This Is Why I'm Hot - MIMS , Turnin Me On - Keri Hilson , You Make Me Wanna - Usher , Rockin That Thang - The Dream , Power - Kanye West Download the song:

Work Bitch - Britney Spears

Speed: 128 bpm The DJ's Take: Let's cut to the chase - do I think this will be a hit? Afraid so. The beat thumps a little, the commercialization opportunities are endless (i.e. ads for fitness clubs, workout montage in Step Up XVII, web parody videos, remixes, etc.), and it's no worse than Scream and Shout , a true minimalist abomination that became a mainstay in the Top 10. In any case, grit your teeth and download this for your next party (or spinning class at *Insert Your City Name Here* Sports Clubs). Better safe than sorry. What do you think of Work Bitch? Beam Me Up - Cazzette

Speed: 126 bpm The DJ's Take: This is going on the soundtrack for the next Star Trek movie, right? Those synths are like an electric buzzsaw. Key and bpm wise, Beam Me Up could be a good match for Evacuate the Dance floor if you need something the crowd knows a little better. Regardless, a nice ingredient to throw in during an EDM mix. Editor's Note: Just realized this could also sound good mixed/mashed up with   Let Me Love You , Part of Me , I Wanna Go , and California Gurls . Download the song:   Amazon:
