Survival - Eminem

Speed: 88 bpm The DJ's Take: Two words - straight banger. It's the return of heavy metal rap, and I like it. This should play especially well if your crowd is rocking leather jackets and biker garb. In fact, speed the track up a touch and you could blend with Berzerk . Try mixing into Roar if you feel like messing with people - they'll either love it (especially females) or look at you like you spilled a drink on them. Another option - go into Love The Way You Lie for a mashup or transition into softer Top 40. Editor's Note:  Might be interesting to pair up with Lose Yourself if you're on an Eminem tip and secretly want the crowd to start chanting ' Spaghetti! Spaghetti! Spaghetti! It Won't Stop - Sevyn Streeter ft. Chris Brown

Speed: 60 bpm The DJ's Take: If someone asked me to pick between We Can't Stop and It Won't Stop, I'm going with the latter. Sensible strategy here - add a much more recognized name in Chris Brown after the original release and see if it helps you make more of a push up the charts. And you know what? Not bad. Not bad at all. Fingersnaps, fake guitar with a nostalgic echo, faintly pulsing synth, and emotive vocals. In fact, after the first listen, I immediately thought, 'Somewhere in the world, someone has choreographed a slow and sensual dance routine to this track.' Lo and behold, I was right . In any case, It Won't Stop is end-of-the-night music for a dj. Picture this - you're spinning in a Boston bar at 1:45 am, rocking the crowd with Get Lucky , manager's telling you time to wrap things up, and you need something that'll let everyone down easy. Key-compatible, and you can probably beatmatch seamlessly. Worth a download. Editor'

Legacy (Save My Life) - Nicky Romero & Krewella

Speed: 128 bpm The DJ's Take: This kind of reminds me of Where Have You Been both key and bpm wise, but harder. Will it be on pop radio? Probably not. But if you're spinning for EDM fans, certainly worth a download. Plus, if you want to inject a little Top 40, you can blend into our world famous mix: Thinking About You - Calvin Harris , Need U (100%) - Duke Dumont ft. A*M*E , I Need Your Love - Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding , Va Va Voom - Nicki Minaj , Titanium - David Guetta and Sia , Turn Me On - David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj , Where Have You Been - Rihanna , In The Dark - DEV , Don't Stop The Party - Black Eyed Peas , Take Over Control - Afrojack ft. Eva Simons , Shots - LMFAO , Where Them Girls At - David Guetta ft. Flo Rida & Nicki Minaj , Backseat - New Boyz , Judas - Lady Gaga , Give Me Everything - Pitbull ft. Ne-Yo & Afrojack , Till The World Ends - Britney Spears , Tonight (I'm Lovin You) - Enrique Iglesias , Just Can't Get Enough - Bla

White Walls - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ft. SchoolBoy Q and Hollis

Speed:  58 (or 116) bpm The DJ's Take: If you're playing Moo Moo Farm in Mario Kart , just turn down the volume on the TV and turn this up. Also good for when you're rassling and roping broncos. Kind of reminds me of Kanye's New Workout Plan with the country/western vibe (and the bpm's match up). Might work with Blurred Lines and Get Lucky , assuming your crowd isn't sick of those tracks yet. Download the song: Amazon:
