No Matter What - T.I.

tempo: 73 bpm bpm range: 70 bpm  to  75 bpm the dj's take: The final song in our episode 29 mix (24:55): Actual footage of me chopping up the intro to match with Whatcha Say: The final result in Logic Pro X : Definitely sounds better than it looks. Some other key-compatible tracks to mix with: Whatcha Say - Jason Derulo Sensualidad - Bad Bunny X Prince Royce X J Balvin Still Tippin' - Swishahouse ft. Mike Jones, Slim Thug & Paul Wall 2U - David Guetta & Justin Bieber I Fall Apart - Post Malone Cry Me a River - Justin Timberlake Believer - Major Lazer, Showtek Everyday - A$AP Rocky ft. Whatcha Say - Jason Derulo

tempo: 72 bpm bpm range: 70 bpm  to  75 bpm the DJ’s take: Penultimate song in episode 29 (22:29): Nice transition out of Can't Take It From Me , even if the notes don't totally match up melodically. Big hit when it came out, although the heavy auto-tune and exaggerated instrumental may seem a little dated. Worth a spin as a throwback. Try mixing or mashing up with: Sensualidad - Bad Bunny X Prince Royce X J Balvin Still Tippin' - Swishahouse ft. Mike Jones, Slim Thug & Paul Wall 2U - David Guetta & Justin Bieber I Fall Apart - Post Malone Cry Me a River - Justin Timberlake Believer - Major Lazer, Showtek Everyday - A$AP Rocky ft. Rod Stewart She Knows - NeYo Ridin' - Chamillionaire No Matter What - T.I. download or stream the song: amazon spotify playlist itunes

Sensualidad - Bad Bunny x Prince Royce x J Balvin

tempo: 70 bpm bpm range:   65 bpm  to  70 bpm ,  70 bpm  to  75 bpm the dj's take: Song #7 in our episode 29 mix (17:21): Kind of a fun transition from Cry Me A River; Timbaland goes 'whoa' in the last note, then you've got the next guy going 'who-o-o-o-o-oo-oa' right afterward. Add in Black Rob's Whoa and we could've had a trifecta. Also, not to nitpick the video, but come on - who putts with a driver: Arnold Palmer would be rolling over in his grave. Try mixing / mashing up with: Still Tippin' - Swishahouse ft. Mike Jones, Slim Thug & Paul Wall 2U - David Guetta & Justin Bieber I Fall Apart - Post Malone Cry Me a River - Justin Timberlake Believer - Major Lazer, Showtek Everyday - A$AP Rocky ft. Still Tippin' - Swishahouse ft. Mike Jones, Slim Thug & Paul Wall

tempo: 71-72 bpm bpm range: 70 bpm  to  75 bpm the dj's take: Song #5 in episode 29 (10:29): That bassline will make your speakers shiver - especially in a car. Sound may be a little too Houston for some, but if you're spinning at a big party where hiphop is on the menu, give the crowd a taste. Some other key-compatible tracks to mix with: Sensualidad - Bad Bunny x Prince Royce x J Balvin 2U - David Guetta & Justin Bieber I Fall Apart - Post Malone Cry Me a River - Justin Timberlake Believer - Major Lazer, Showtek Everyday - A$AP Rocky ft. Rod Stewart Whatcha Say - Jason Derulo Ridin' - Chamillionaire No Matter What - T.I. download or stream Still Tippin': amazon spotify playlist

Cry Me A River - Justin Timberlake

tempo: 74 bpm bpm range: 70 bpm  to  75 bpm the dj's take: Track #6 in our episode 29 mix (14:16): Kind of a tough one (for me) to work with. While the percussion in many singles features sharp and compact beats, these drums feel more like footsteps crunching through snow or pebbles / sand; drags out a little more, and sounds somewhat uneven. Maybe it's easier in Serato . Anyway, had to chop up the transition from Still Tippin' to smooth everything out: A big hit back in the day that deserves a longer-term spot in the rotation. Sing-along appeal is an 11 out of 10. Try mixing with: Sensualidad - Bad Bunny x Prince Royce x J Balvin 2U - David Guetta & Justin Bieber I Fall Apart - Post Malone Believer - Major Lazer, Showtek Everyday - A$AP Rocky ft. Rod Stewart Whatcha Say - Jason Derulo Ridin' - Chamillionaire No Matter What - T.I. download or stream Cry Me A River: amazon spotify playlist

She Knows - Ne-Yo ft. Juicy J

tempo: 70 bpm bpm range: 65 bpm  to  70 bpm ,  70 bpm  to  75 bpm The DJ's Take: Song #2 in our episode 29 mix (2:06): Pretty smooth transition from Old Town Road ; didn't have to do any editing on that one. Should work well in a club environment, especially with the females. Some other key-compatible tracks between 65 to 70 bpm: We Dem Boyz - Wiz Khalifa Right Now (Na Na Na) - Akon All Night - Beyoncé And from 70 to 75 bpm: Sensualidad - Bad Bunny x Prince Royce x J Balvin 2U - David Guetta & Justin Bieber I Fall Apart - Post Malone Cry Me a River - Justin Timberlake Believer - Major Lazer, Showtek Everyday - A$AP Rocky ft. Rod Stewart Whatcha Say - Jason Derulo Ridin' - Chamillionaire No Matter What - T.I. download or stream She Knows: amazon spotify playlist
