Get Low - Dillon Francis & DJ Snake

Speed: 101 bpm

The DJ's Take: Nothing beats the original Get Low when it comes to getting a crowd going, but this isn't bad. In fact, I can see that first drop keeping things moving in a club. As far as keeping the trap/electronic-vibe going, I'd mix with tracks like Turn Down For What and the Fancy Yellow Claw Remix. But really, almost anything upbeat in the 100 to 105 bpm range should work.

dj mix/mashup: do you think of me [mariah carey] x always forever [bryson tiller]

Links: Made with Logic Pro at 72 bpm Fun little instrumental blend of Bryson Tiller's Always Forever , which we used in mix 66 , and Mariah Carey's Do You Think of Me , which ended up on the cutting room floor. As you can see up top, I broke out the scalpel and did some slicing to make the beats match up better. Final verdict: Worth it. Follow the playlist on djcheatsheet.com

4th of July (Fireworks) - Kelis

tempo: 124 bpm the DJ's take: In terms of energy and key/note progression, I feel like this one could go well with Ne-Yo's Let's Go , Bingo Players' Cry Just A Little , Flo Rida's I Cry , and maybe the Day N Nite - Crookers Remix . Fast and danceable, with a buzzy, hypnotic bass. Definitely worth a spin in a poolside dance mix. download or stream 4th of July (Fireworks): amazon dj cheat sheet playlist
