Prayer In C (Robin Schulz Remix) - Lilly Wood & The Prick and Robin Schulz

Speed: 123 bpm

The DJ's Take: I don't know much about this Robin Schulz fellow, but his music gives off a surfer dude type vibe (especially in the wake of that Waves remix). The quasi-bongo drums and similar key make me feel like this could be an interesting mashup with one of the greatest breakbeats of all-time.

If you're going pop in the 120 bpm range, try mixing or mashing up with tracks like Safe and Sound - Capital Cities, Bad Romance - Lady Gaga, Don't You Want Me - The Human League, and SexyBack - Justin Timberlake (and then maybe finishing off with Songs On 12 Play).

If you're speeding up into the 125 to 130 bpm range, consider blending with tracks like Lay Me Down - Avicii, Adore You - Miley Cyrus (Cedric Gervais Remix), Ten Feet Tall - Afrojack, Take Me - Tiesto, We Run The Night - Havana Brown ft. Pitbull, Marry The Night - Lady Gaga, Club Can't Handle Me - Flo Rida, Danza Kuduro - Don Omar, Shut It Down - Pitbull ft. Akon, F*ck You - Ceelo Green, Push It - Salt N PepaU Can't Touch This - MC Hammer, and Right Round - Flo Rida.

Lucky You - Eminem ft. Joyner Lucas

tempo: 76-77 bpm bpm range: 75 bpm  to  80 bpm the dj's take: I was wondering why the phrase 'Lucky You' sounded familiar... then remembered my Lucky Brand jeans say this behind the zipper: So let's say you're on a date. Things are going well, relations commence, and your companion sees that message. Cute? Or a mood killer? Either way, that's a lot of bravado to live up to. Brings to mind Brick Tamland in Anchorman: As for the track, try mixing with: Bam - Jay-Z ft. Damian Marley PIE - Future ft. Chris Brown Stitches - Shawn Mendes download or stream Lucky You: amazon itunes

Stay - The Kid LAROI ft. Justin Bieber

tempo: 85 bpm bpm range:   85  to  90 bpm the dj's take: Song #9 in episode #65 of our mix show (22:29): Cool transition out of Scarface's Guess Who's Back ; loop that properly and you've got an interesting potential beat / mashup. And then we slide into T-Pain and Kehlani's I Like Dat to slow down the pace and take us into the home stretch. A must-spin for any pop dj - serves up a burst of bouncy energy for the youth who've been cooped up for awhile now.
