So I'm no expert, but if you go about 2:40 into that video, we see why his car broke down - he must've pumped the wrong gas into it. Blue, purple or pink smoke coming out is the telltale sign. If he'd put the proper fuel in, we'd be seeing orange or brilliant hues of neon green. Mystery solved.

On a side note, that louder transition / buildup from Red Lights would be my Electric Daisy Carnival moment. I can see it now - light show flashing in back of me as I pump my fist in the air, pretending I'm turning knobs on the controller, and then pyrotechnics going off as the first note hits. Then I jump into the crowd of about 30 and do some surfing:
