The DJ’s Take: I’ll be honest; I used to not like this song at all. Simplistic lyrics, generic beat, no soul. But then I decided I wanted to keep making money dj’ing, and my whole outlook changed.

The beat pounds relentlessly and you can make this track the foundation of an 80 bpm mix. Unless you’re spinning for a crowd of hiphop purists, people will almost always feel this one. Don’t know how much longer the shelf life will be - you have to hope that this one ages well, sort of like Jump Around or Mo Money Mo Problems. I think it will.
