Music Review: I Like It - Enrique Iglesias ft. Pitbull

The DJ’s Take: Whodathunk that the current pop EDM trend could save even Enrique Iglesias’ career. Seriously - props to the guy for hooking up with Anna Kournikova, but I thought I was done listening to him after hearing one of those Escape remixes all over the Miami Beach boardwalk during spring break 2002. Nevertheless, this gets me pumping my fist (in the privacy of my apartment) every time I hear it. It’s slowly climbed into the Billboard top 25, and if your crowd wants to go all Jersey Shore on this, then forget your self-respect as a DJ and play it.
