Doesn't get any more 80s than this. I probably went through about 7-8 follow-up tracks on the spotify playlist because of the contrast between its manic energy and the slower vibe of the other songs in that bpm range. Finally settled on Kanye's Can't Tell Me Nothing. And even then, it took a couple more iterations before the transition felt right.

In any case, this one will have a long shelf life - get it in the rotation if you haven't already.

Also melts nicely into Nine Inch Nails' Closer . In fact, even though I know when the transition's coming, it still creeps up on me a bit. Still worth a spot in your prime-time pop rotation. Akon's Beautiful was a nice follow-up here - kinda like going 88 mph on the highway, then braking down to 75.
