Rather Be - Clean Bandit ft. Jess Glynne

tempo: 121 bpm

bpm range: 120 to 125 bpm

The DJ's Take: A breezy pop song that skips along nicely with some 90s club elements sprinkled in. Plus, it's #1 on the Billboard UK Chart, and I don't see why it can't cross over to the States in time. If I hosted my own travel show on TV, this would be a pretty good opening theme.

Try mixing with Poker Face - Lady Gaga, The Way I Are (feat. Keri Hilson & D.O.E.) - Timbaland and/or Forever - Chris Brown. And if you want to dial up to that 125 to 130 bpm pop range, Timber can help you stay key-compatible and boost the energy if things are slowing down.

DJ mix/mashup: no can do because of you (ft. Hall & Oates and Ne-Yo)

Made with Logic Pro at 113 bpm A quick clip from the last mix , and one of my favorite transitions in it. Kind of alluring, mysterious; maybe we can make a more fully realized remix/mashup someday. If you're wondering what the image is in the background at the start of the video, those are quahogs and a channeled whelk I dug out of the sand in low tide on a recent beach trip. Pretty solid haul, and good eating for sure. Although I probably should've kept them separate - apparently whelks like to eat the clams .

dj mix/mashup: 6 man [drake] x devil in a new dress [kanye west, rick ross]

Made with Logic Pro at 82 bpm Clip from mix #69 - two big beats on top of each other, which I could've done a better job adjusting for a cleaner sound. But if you listen to the actual mix, the transition sounds smooth; my goal for this video was to create a loop that feels like the first draft of a mashup/remix. Worth building on for a future project. Key- and bpm-compatible playlist
