Hello (Adele Cover) - Conkarah & Rosie Delmah

Speed: 79 bpm

Recommended bpm range: 75 bpm to 80 bpm

The DJ's Take: Seems like random pop songs get the reggae remake-over, and this may be one of the biggest. It's generating buzz, and turns the original from something you brood to into something you can groove to. I could see this being a hit or a flop in a pop set, so consider slipping it in at the end of a night and see what happens.

One cool thing is that this is the same key and bpm as Adele's version, so there's a mix / mashup possibility there, or you can go into tracks like Best I Ever Had - Drake and Dirt Off Your Shoulder - Jay-Z.

DJ mix/mashup: no can do because of you (ft. Hall & Oates and Ne-Yo)

Made with Logic Pro at 113 bpm A quick clip from the last mix , and one of my favorite transitions in it. Kind of alluring, mysterious; maybe we can make a more fully realized remix/mashup someday. If you're wondering what the image is in the background at the start of the video, those are quahogs and a channeled whelk I dug out of the sand in low tide on a recent beach trip. Pretty solid haul, and good eating for sure. Although I probably should've kept them separate - apparently whelks like to eat the clams .

dj mix/mashup: 6 man [drake] x devil in a new dress [kanye west, rick ross]

Made with Logic Pro at 82 bpm Clip from mix #69 - two big beats on top of each other, which I could've done a better job adjusting for a cleaner sound. But if you listen to the actual mix, the transition sounds smooth; my goal for this video was to create a loop that feels like the first draft of a mashup/remix. Worth building on for a future project. Key- and bpm-compatible playlist
