One Dance - Drake ft. Wizkid & Kyla

tempo: 104 bpm

bpm range: 100 to 105 bpm

The DJ's Take: Song #3 in our Formula 15 mix (3:13):

And song #2 in version 31 (2:38):

Couldn't find a legit video for the song, so I embedded the live performance from SNL. Props to Drake - voice is wavering a bit, which proves he's definitely not pulling an Ashlee Simpson:

Anyway, we all know how big this was when it came out. Should have a solid shelf life in the years to come.

Try mixing with:

Me Rehúso - Danny Ocean
thank u, next - Ariana Grande
Questions - Chris Brown
My My My! - Troye Sivan
For Free - DJ Khaled ft. Drake
Let's Talk About Sex - Salt N Pepa
Colors - Halsey
Piece By Piece - Kelly Clarkson
Lose Yourself To Dance - Daft Punk
In My Room - Yellow Claw & DJ Mustard ft. Ty Dolla $ign & Tyga

dj mix/mashup: do you think of me [mariah carey] x always forever [bryson tiller]

Links: Made with Logic Pro at 72 bpm Fun little instrumental blend of Bryson Tiller's Always Forever , which we used in mix 66 , and Mariah Carey's Do You Think of Me , which ended up on the cutting room floor. As you can see up top, I broke out the scalpel and did some slicing to make the beats match up better. Final verdict: Worth it. Follow the playlist on djcheatsheet.com

DJ mix/mashup: no can do because of you (ft. Hall & Oates and Ne-Yo)

Made with Logic Pro at 113 bpm A quick clip from the last mix , and one of my favorite transitions in it. Kind of alluring, mysterious; maybe we can make a more fully realized remix/mashup someday. If you're wondering what the image is in the background at the start of the video, those are quahogs and a channeled whelk I dug out of the sand in low tide on a recent beach trip. Pretty solid haul, and good eating for sure. Although I probably should've kept them separate - apparently whelks like to eat the clams .
