DJ mix/mashup: evening proceedings (ft. Janet Jackson and Jodeci)

Most of my 'mashups' consist of throwing together a couple songs off one of our playlists, or looping a lightly edited transition off one of my mixes. But this time, I went deeper and made something a little more proper. Pieces of five songs in about 2.5 minutes, and the end result was encouraging. Maybe we'll do some more like this in the future. Speed: 98 bpm The DJ's Take: People may complain that Chris Brown and Tyga keep coming out with tiny variations of the same song. I think it's smart - encourage dj's to play three or four of your singles in a row, and then mash them up on soundcloud without having to worry whether or not they sound right together. Mix with tracks like Loyal , Ayo , I Don't F**k With You , Team , and U Know What's Up , and you've got a key-compatible 15 to 20 minute set that should keep things moving.
