I think Logic Pro is slowly getting better - tried mixing Ride Like The Wind and Backstabbers weeks ago, and the beats just weren't locking in place like I wanted (which is something you can run into with 70s/80s songs). Tried again last week, didn't do anything different, and the result finally matched the vision. Moral of the story: if it doesn't work at first, give the developers some time and try again.
