Quiet summer, but I had this in the back of my mind, and finally put something together. Wasn't as smooth a process as some other mixes/mashups; tried to shoehorn in Kanye's Diamonds from Sierra Leone at the end (the beginning where Shirley Bassey sings 'diamonds are forever'), but the backing instrumental was off-beat vs. the other songs, so we scrapped it. Wish I knew of a good way to fully isolate vocals from the beat in an individual song. Overall, I probably listened to this one too many times with headphones on. Started hearing how pitches in the different songs were a bit incompatible at times, but at a certain point you just say 'good enough.' Hopefully this is an interesting addition to the waves of Not Like Us mashups out there.
