Worth It - Fifth Harmony ft. Kid Ink

tempo: 100 bpm

bpm range: 95 to 100 bpm100 to 105 bpm

The DJ's Take: Song #9 in Pop Sampler 1.0 (11:47):

First Problem, then Talk Dirty, and now this. Just goes to show - when you're a producer in doubt, throw in some heavy horns, set to around 100 bpm, and hope you have a hit.

On a side note, the title makes me think of the buzzfeed guys who try & compare the affordable vs. expensive versions of food. This one would've made a good theme song:

dj mix/mashup: do you think of me [mariah carey] x always forever [bryson tiller]

Links: Made with Logic Pro at 72 bpm Fun little instrumental blend of Bryson Tiller's Always Forever , which we used in mix 66 , and Mariah Carey's Do You Think of Me , which ended up on the cutting room floor. As you can see up top, I broke out the scalpel and did some slicing to make the beats match up better. Final verdict: Worth it. Follow the playlist on djcheatsheet.com

DJ mix/mashup: no can do because of you (ft. Hall & Oates and Ne-Yo)

Made with Logic Pro at 113 bpm A quick clip from the last mix , and one of my favorite transitions in it. Kind of alluring, mysterious; maybe we can make a more fully realized remix/mashup someday. If you're wondering what the image is in the background at the start of the video, those are quahogs and a channeled whelk I dug out of the sand in low tide on a recent beach trip. Pretty solid haul, and good eating for sure. Although I probably should've kept them separate - apparently whelks like to eat the clams .
