Daddy Yo - WizKid

Speed: 99 bpm

Recommended bpm range: 95 to 100 bpm100 to 105 bpm

The DJ's Take: Kinda reminds me of Serani's No Games from awhile back. Slow down a little and this could blend nicely into Starboy too. Very danceable, and if you drop it at the right time, expect an energetic reaction. Want to keep things key-compatible? Try mixing with:

In the 95 to 100 bpm range:

Hello Friday - Flo Rida ft. Jason Derulo
Old Thing Back - Matoma & Notorious BIG ft. Ja Rule & Ralph Tresvant
This Is How We Do - Katy Perry
Shoop - Salt N Pepa
Na Na - Trey Songz
Paranoid - Ty Dolla $ign

In the 100 to 105 bpm range:

Rockabye - Clean Bandit, Sean Paul, Anne-Marie
Cool Girl - Tove Lo
The Life - Fifth Harmony
Summer In The Winter - Kid Ink ft. Omarion
Stick Around - Akon & Matoma
Somebody - Natalie La Rose ft. Jeremih
Whistle - Flo Rida

DJ mix/mashup: no can do because of you (ft. Hall & Oates and Ne-Yo)

Made with Logic Pro at 113 bpm A quick clip from the last mix , and one of my favorite transitions in it. Kind of alluring, mysterious; maybe we can make a more fully realized remix/mashup someday. If you're wondering what the image is in the background at the start of the video, those are quahogs and a channeled whelk I dug out of the sand in low tide on a recent beach trip. Pretty solid haul, and good eating for sure. Although I probably should've kept them separate - apparently whelks like to eat the clams .

dj mix/mashup: 6 man [drake] x devil in a new dress [kanye west, rick ross]

Made with Logic Pro at 82 bpm Clip from mix #69 - two big beats on top of each other, which I could've done a better job adjusting for a cleaner sound. But if you listen to the actual mix, the transition sounds smooth; my goal for this video was to create a loop that feels like the first draft of a mashup/remix. Worth building on for a future project. Key- and bpm-compatible playlist
