I Love It - Kanye West & Lil Pump ft. Adele Givens

tempo: 104 bpm

bpm range: 100 to 105 bpm

the dj's take: The beat reminds me of Fade, which would make a nice little mix / mashup. You're probably not dropping this at a bar mitzvah, but if you spin at a shady college bar, the hook alone should get the crowd going.

On a side note, nice to see Kanye paying homage to his mom with that chain. I'm sure she's beaming down proudly from the ether as he spits gems like 'you're such a fucking hoe' and 'I'm a sick fuck, I like a quick fuck.' Wash your mouth out with soap, mister:

Would you get a chain like that? Apparently they have them on Amazon. So go get one, and if someone makes fun of you, just shrug your shoulders and tell them it's a phase.

DJ mix/mashup: no can do because of you (ft. Hall & Oates and Ne-Yo)

Made with Logic Pro at 113 bpm A quick clip from the last mix , and one of my favorite transitions in it. Kind of alluring, mysterious; maybe we can make a more fully realized remix/mashup someday. If you're wondering what the image is in the background at the start of the video, those are quahogs and a channeled whelk I dug out of the sand in low tide on a recent beach trip. Pretty solid haul, and good eating for sure. Although I probably should've kept them separate - apparently whelks like to eat the clams .

dj mix/mashup: 6 man [drake] x devil in a new dress [kanye west, rick ross]

Made with Logic Pro at 82 bpm Clip from mix #69 - two big beats on top of each other, which I could've done a better job adjusting for a cleaner sound. But if you listen to the actual mix, the transition sounds smooth; my goal for this video was to create a loop that feels like the first draft of a mashup/remix. Worth building on for a future project. Key- and bpm-compatible playlist
