Music Review: Only Girl in the World - Rihanna

Speed: 126 bpm

The DJ’s Take: Once in awhile, you hear a track for the first time, and immediately get a feeling it’ll be a hit. And that’s how I feel this morning about Only Girl in the World. Pop EDM is still the weapon of choice for top 40 DJs, and now you have a pop heavyweight who’s really doing it for the first time. She nails it, and the breakdown in the chorus that turns into a massive thump. I will be really surprised if this doesn’t hit the Billboard Top 10, if not #1. Get it in your library now before the ladies start bothering you for it in a couple weeks.
