The DJ's Take: Is it safe to say that when a song's been out for a couple years, and suddenly jumps to just outside the Top 50 on iTunes, it was probably recently featured on a tv show or ad? No idea if that's the case here, but it's my only explanation. I like the buildup and ultimate peak, but if you're spinning this, consider cutting out before the singer starts screaming.
