Fetish - Selena Gomez ft. Gucci Mane

tempo: 61-62 bpm

bpm range: 60 bpm to 65 bpm

the dj's take: When you've got a whole video focusing on someone's mouth, you're just asking to get spoofed and memed. Joey Chestnut devouring a hot dog as he lip syncs, a cat meowing... the possibilities are endless, assuming this song gets big enough (there is some precedent). Too bad they didn't switch to Gucci Mane with some grills on during his guest verse.

If you're a dj trying to stay key-compatible, try mixing with:

Never Be Like You - Flume ft. Kai
Car Radio - twenty one pilots
No Broken Hearts - Bebe Rexha ft. Nicki Minaj
All Day - Kanye West

Or you could half-time into tracks like:

This Is What You Came For - Calvin Harris ft. Rihanna
Intoxicated - Martin Solveig & GTA
Higher Place - Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike ft. NeYo
Shades of Grey - Oliver Heldens & Shaun Frank ft. Delaney Jane
Can't Feel My Face (Martin Garrix Remix) - The Weeknd
Never Leave - DVBBS
Don't Look Down - Martin Garrix ft. Usher
On My Way - Axwell ^ Ingrosso
I Want You To Know - Zedd ft. Selena Gomez
Light Years Away (feat. DBX) - Tiesto
Save the World (Radio Mix) - Swedish House Mafia
Pursuit of Happiness (Extended Steve Aoki Remix) [feat. MGMT & Ratatat] - Kid Cudi
The Days - Avicii
Prayer In C - Lilly Wood & The Prick and Robin Schulz
Lay Me Down - Avicii
Adore You - Miley Cyrus (Cedric Gervais Remix)
Ten Feet Tall - Afrojack
Take Me - Tiesto
We Run The Night - Havana Brown ft. Pitbull
Marry The Night - Lady Gaga
Club Can't Handle Me - Flo Rida

Starboy - The Weeknd, Daft Punk

tempo: 93 bpm bpm range: 90 to 95 bpm The DJ's Take: Song #6 in our chapter 53 mix (11:38): As we saw with the I Wonder lead-in, that percussion-only intro makes this easier to mix and to play around with. Also melts nicely into Nine Inch Nails' Closer . In fact, even though I know when the transition's coming, it still creeps up on me a bit. Still worth a spot in your prime-time pop rotation. Some other key-compatible music: Old Thing Back - Matoma & Notorious BIG Back To Sleep - Chris Brown One More Chance (Remix) - Notorious BIG Shoop - Salt N Pepa Out of the Woods - Taylor Swift This Is How We Do - Katy Perry Na Na - Trey Songz Paranoid - Ty Dolla $ign No Games - Serani Download or stream Starboy: spotify playlist amazon

Titanium - David Guetta ft. Sia

tempo: 126 bpm bpm range: 125 to 130 bpm The DJ's Take: Song #3 in mix 50 (3:39): Pretty epic drop; a lot of those pop edm tracks from ~2010-2012 sound similar, so it makes sense to string them together. Akon's Beautiful was a nice follow-up here - kinda like going 88 mph on the highway, then braking down to 75. Some other key-compatible music: Va Va Voom - Nicki Minaj THE SCOTTS - THE SCOTTS, Travis Scott & Kid Cudi Like I Do - David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Brooks I Need Your Love - Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding Where Have You Been - Rihanna Pumped Up Kicks - Foster The People In The Dark - DEV Pump Up The Jam - Technotronic Shots - LMFAO The Way You Move - Outkast Blame - Calvin Harris ft.
