Too Good At Goodbyes - Sam Smith

tempo: 92 bpm

bpm range: 90 to 95 bpm

the dj's take: I guess the fingersnaps save this one from a dj standpoint, right? Then again, you can always add in your own percussion with something like Logic Pro or Ableton. Anyway, considering the tone and the song title, make Too Good At Goodbyes your closer. A certified hit at this point, and you'll end the night on a high note.

Key-compatible tracks from 90 to 95 bpm:

Felices los 4 - Maluma
Tek Weh Yuh Heart - Sean Paul ft. Tory Lanez
The Ocean - Mike Perry ft. Shy Martin
Genghis Khan - Miike Snow
Slow Motion - Trey Songz

And a couple more at 96 bpm:

Blank Space - Taylor Swift
Back That Azz Up - Juvenile

dj mix/mashup: do you think of me [mariah carey] x always forever [bryson tiller]

Links: Made with Logic Pro at 72 bpm Fun little instrumental blend of Bryson Tiller's Always Forever , which we used in mix 66 , and Mariah Carey's Do You Think of Me , which ended up on the cutting room floor. As you can see up top, I broke out the scalpel and did some slicing to make the beats match up better. Final verdict: Worth it. Follow the playlist on djcheatsheet.com

DJ mix/mashup: no can do because of you (ft. Hall & Oates and Ne-Yo)

Made with Logic Pro at 113 bpm A quick clip from the last mix , and one of my favorite transitions in it. Kind of alluring, mysterious; maybe we can make a more fully realized remix/mashup someday. If you're wondering what the image is in the background at the start of the video, those are quahogs and a channeled whelk I dug out of the sand in low tide on a recent beach trip. Pretty solid haul, and good eating for sure. Although I probably should've kept them separate - apparently whelks like to eat the clams .
