Ghostface Killers - 21 Savage, Offset, Metro Boomin, Travis Scott

tempo: 83 bpm

bpm range: 80 bpm to 85 bpm

the dj's take: As a casual fan of old school kung fu, gotta pay homage to the original Ghostface Killer:

Bad ass. But does he really have to do all that tumbling around before killing people? Seems like you'd want to conserve your energy.

As for the track, perfectly adequate for a hiphop set. Try mixing with:

Countdown - Beyoncé
Clique - Kanye West, Jay-Z, Big Sean
Criminal - Natti Natasha x Ozuna
Black and Yellow - Wiz Khalifa
Learn To Let Go - Kesha
So Good - Zara Larsson ft. Ty Dolla $ign
On My Mind - Ellie Goulding
Bounce - 2 Chainz

DJ mix/mashup: no can do because of you (ft. Hall & Oates and Ne-Yo)

Made with Logic Pro at 113 bpm A quick clip from the last mix , and one of my favorite transitions in it. Kind of alluring, mysterious; maybe we can make a more fully realized remix/mashup someday. If you're wondering what the image is in the background at the start of the video, those are quahogs and a channeled whelk I dug out of the sand in low tide on a recent beach trip. Pretty solid haul, and good eating for sure. Although I probably should've kept them separate - apparently whelks like to eat the clams .

dj mix/mashup: 6 man [drake] x devil in a new dress [kanye west, rick ross]

Made with Logic Pro at 82 bpm Clip from mix #69 - two big beats on top of each other, which I could've done a better job adjusting for a cleaner sound. But if you listen to the actual mix, the transition sounds smooth; my goal for this video was to create a loop that feels like the first draft of a mashup/remix. Worth building on for a future project. Key- and bpm-compatible playlist
