Con Calma - Daddy Yankee, Snow

tempo: 94 bpm

bpm range: 90 to 95 bpm

the dj's take: Song #2 in our XXV mix (2:31):

And song #5 in our chapter 51 mix (10:22):

That video reminds me of one of those The General insurance commercials:

Wild. I imagine that second half made the rounds on the subreddit r/idiotsincars. Proves once again that old people may want to hang up the steering wheel beyond a certain age.

On a side note, congratulations to Daddy Yankee for joining the Sterling Mercury show two-timers club - truly an honor. Solid intro for mixing in; that heavy rattle at the end punctuates the transition like a hard stop-and-pop jumper:

Also, you can do a little throwback back-to-back with Snow's Informer - similar key, and close enough in bpm.

DJ mix/mashup: no can do because of you (ft. Hall & Oates and Ne-Yo)

Made with Logic Pro at 113 bpm A quick clip from the last mix , and one of my favorite transitions in it. Kind of alluring, mysterious; maybe we can make a more fully realized remix/mashup someday. If you're wondering what the image is in the background at the start of the video, those are quahogs and a channeled whelk I dug out of the sand in low tide on a recent beach trip. Pretty solid haul, and good eating for sure. Although I probably should've kept them separate - apparently whelks like to eat the clams .

dj mix/mashup: 6 man [drake] x devil in a new dress [kanye west, rick ross]

Made with Logic Pro at 82 bpm Clip from mix #69 - two big beats on top of each other, which I could've done a better job adjusting for a cleaner sound. But if you listen to the actual mix, the transition sounds smooth; my goal for this video was to create a loop that feels like the first draft of a mashup/remix. Worth building on for a future project. Key- and bpm-compatible playlist
